is there a clicking sound? could just be a weak battery. lights would still come on but it won't have the juice to push the starter.

the starter is on top of the tranny right under the dizzy. it's held on with two 14mm nuts and it's not hard to get out.

^ only problem is they can test good but the solenoid can be crapping out anyway. This happens a lot on b-series.

i'd pull the starter and battery and get them both tested. if they both check fine then it's either a wire or the solenoid.

So... It doesn't click or anything? Yet when you move the transmission into reverse and put it back it starts sometimes? My girlfriends Automatic accord won't let you take the keys out sometimes because it doesn't realize it's in park. The shifter needs to be jiggled a little bit backwards. Maybe that has something to do with it? Because if it can start some of the time then the starter Itself Is probably not the issue.

Yes...the park/neutral sensor is probably worn out.
