Wink Singel cam reving issue ????????? Help

Supp guys I'm sure there's already a thread about this just don't know what to look for but alrite at times my car while in idel starts to rev up nd down betwen 1 nd 2 rpms nd it continues to do it nd it affercts the driving people say it's an iac not sure if it is or not so I took it out cleaned it but nothing happens does Any one have an idea o what it can be nd how to fix it

FITV google that one you should find a write up on it how to take it out take it apart clean it stuff like that

^+1 for both. both the IACv and the FITv can cause it too do that, unhook the IACv wire and see if it stops, if it does it's the IACv, if it doesn't then it's the FITv

Probably just a vacuum leak...check all your vac lines and look for holes cracks hissing noises. Could be a gasket issue. IACV and FITV dont usually just go bad..the FITV can come apart inside the case but thats about it.

ight cool let me see because i had that head on my old block then i slaped it on this block nd on my old block never had an iacv promblem

nd my head is y8 making it obd2 nd in the write up it said it doesnt have the fitv im going to try to unplug the iac in a few

i had an old DA9 that kept breaking IACv's had three on the car, and i finally gave up on it and just drove with it unplugged. had the same problem with every Honda me and a friend of mine have ever had. they go out like krazy!
