garrett turbo on d16
i have a built d16z6 bottom end
block guard, vitara pistons, cusom length fjt rods, acl bearings, arp head bolts.
and i picked up a garrett turbo cheap and was woundering if it is to big for my setup? and what would it spool at?

what's the A/R size? .48 will have a power band of around 3000-7000 rpms, .63 will be around 4000-8000 and the .82 will be around 5000-9000. these numbers are based on a T57 Garrett turbo which is slightly smaller then the T60.

Thats a small frame turbo so don't worrie about it beeing to big... DO NOT go with a .48ar t housing cause that'll choke up and create back pressure. Whats the power goals and what purpose is the car used for?

yes but according to that part number is only a certain turbo with optional housings.
