ok guys i have d16y8 ek coupe.. i change the spark plugs, spark plug wiress, distributor cap and rotor.. cel light is on and i took it to pep boys and they told me that i have ignition concerns and faulty cat converter. any ideas guy?? need help

 

next time dont waste your time at pepboys. go to advance and have them scan it and tell them to give the you the cel code number. it could be distributor

dude change out ur dizzy! mine juss did this..but at 3500..changed it out and it runs perfect..i spent weeks tryin to figure it out..this should help u faster..and juss get rid of ur cat..or get a high flow..

 

thanks for the help.. taking out the cat tomorrow so hopefully that will fix the problem
