Better to rebulid..VS just get a new motor with VTEC?

yeah I did some research and I can buy a whole new TYPE R motor from Japan for 3500 with less than 35,000 miles on it..or to rebulid LSVTECH its bout 4800.00 (parts plus maybe some labor) however this is all skunk 2 parts or at least what I Can get... I can do alot for a girl..but not all of it...either way im paying to take a motor out and put something back in.

who the hell told you it will cost 4800$ to build a lsvtec?i just built up someones fully sleeved built GSR for less..it will cost you under 1500 to do your lsvtec nicely

^+1 ls/vtec isn't much, compared to a type R swap. and remember with VTEC you have to swap ecu's and wire in the VTEC solinoid.

ls turbo, i bet if you slap a ebay turbo kit and boost 7 psi your gonna think your car is super fast. i can throw in a k-swap with $4800

VTEC isnt really all economy. Its more of dont add just big cams to lose some power down low. Take the lobes for VTEC and use that size for all RPM or set your VTEC to engage at like 2k lol I bet that shit runs like shit unless its built and has a good tune. I think the best part of VTEC is the sound. Damn I love that ITR crossover. baaaaaaaBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HOLY SHIT WTF JUST HAPPENED!?! Time warp nigga! like said above Honda's light speed but seriously when VTEC hits in a ITR you cant miss it. Shits loud! Probably the same for a B16 IDK.

you should feel/hear the k20 crossover lol no comparison to my GS-R really

^thats the only reason for vtec so you can hear a louder noise when comeing from your muffler,just like only reason for a turbo is to drive passed someone with there window down and rev up so it makes a air noise.i had a fully built lsvtec with nice cams could not hear my crossover at all,but then again i had a nice exhuast system

I have but only a Civic Si and it was weak. The ITR crossover is extremely loud compared to other cars I have heard.
