what does the knock sensor wire/ plug look like.. i just realized my air temp sensor was plugged into the knock sensor... my car is a 95 ex... what will happen if i just leave it unplugged or leave the air temp sensor plugged into it? like it has been the last 7 months.

Its a black wire w/ a single metal female adapter on the end of it. Knock sensor is located on the back of the block (look like a metal nipple sticking out of a bolt).
