Default Turbo question.....

I have a b18b turbo.

My question is.. are the rocker arms supposed to have more play than usual because it is turbo or should they be adjusted to spec???

Thanks

The only thing that might be looser than factory spec when doing a turbo build would be the piston to wall clearance, and possibly ring end gap. Cams will be factory spec or whatever spec your cam specifies.

Definitely factory specs which if i'm not mistaking 0.07 intake and 0.09 exhaust. Always adjust your valve lash clearances to spec when running stock cams and even if you ran aftermarket cams most companies recommend oem specs.

^ those are close to the loose end of factory specs...I do .005 for intake and .007 for exhaust (I think those are the numbers) but anyway you should always put them to the lowest end of spec so they don't need to be adjusted as often.

Im not sure on the B18A/B but a b16/ is .006 and .007, I believe a b18c1 is like .007 and .008..
