Default Need some help

Acura Parts @ AcuraAutomotiveParts.org - Genuine Acura OEM Parts from Acura Carland

On the link above, number 5 is the part I am having the issue with. Well somehow my head got stripped where that pivot bolt is supposed to tighten into. I need to helicoil this location if it is at all possible but I need to know the specs on the bolt so I can order the correct coil and tap. Can anyone help me out with this?

uh take it to a fastener place.... thats probably the only place where u will find one , but i am no thinking its possible because it is a really fine thread if i remember correctly and they might not even make that helicoil........ another option is weld and re-tap , man it would probably be cheaper to get another ls head... they go for 50 bucks most of the time

Here is my secondary question...can you have a head shaved while it is fully assembled? The head is fully disassembled right now but I was going to put it back together today and have the surface trued at a machine shop but if it needs to be disassembled for that process I won't put it back together.

Well we are porting the second head as we speak. Once the porting is done I will shave it (as little as possible) and then hot tank it and assemble it. Should turn out to be a nice addition to my boosted setup.
