i got a d15b8 bottem end and put a z6 head on it. i only had d15 b7 head studs so i used them. now its leaking oil between the head and block.

What kind of head studs should i have used or should buy to put in it.

Did you use a new headgasket? Use the studs from the correct head

 

i used a head gasket that i put on before but was only on for a few mins. but i shouild use b8 head studs from that block

 

did u tighten to spec??? and get a new gasket i just did mine and used the bolts from my head and used them on my new one they are fine and once u get the new gasket dont just get right on it grandama drive it for about 100miles to let the gasket settle or u could leak also happend good luck hope that helped a lil
