Default cv problems

ok so i jus got a 91 integra. broke the cv like the 6th day i had it. i ordered a new one that was supposed to fit but when i went to install it its almost 2 inchs short. so i had a friend run the vin and it showed up as a automatic which obviously means its a swap.

is there anyone that can help me out. i took it to my mechanic and he cant figure it out hes contacted acura and they're stumped. now ive been without my car for over a week over a stupid ass cv joint

please help me

It shouldnt matter if the tranny is auto or manual they sent you the wrong one. Take it back.

The DC mounts wouldnt fit in your car, different dimensions.

They would have used stock mounts for your car, there's no reason NOT to...since it came with that engine. Buy an axle for a 90-93 (pick a year) integra, with or without ABS and that will fit. 2 inches would put your engine or transmission straight into the fender wells, so its not off by that much. Im betting its the driver side axle. I have seen one that was about 2 inches too short as well, it was in a pile of used axles we had. Never could figure out wtf it was from, but they do exist.
