gonna do a SOHC VTEC swap into an 89 CRX Si. Looking at 2 different motors right now ones a 95 and the other a 96. Both complete with engine harness and ECU. I want to use the new motors FI and ECU (using the Si FI ECU and wiring up a switch for VTEC just doesnt sound like the best way to go). Does anyone have a wiring how to for these swaps?

 

If you use a conversion harness for the ecu you need to rewire the injectors and repin the distributor. Also you will need to add the four wire o2 sensor and vtec wires.

Im doing one this weekend probably Ill let you know how it goes.

Btw dont even think of running the 96 ecu if you get that motor it will be VERY difficult.
