when it comes to single cams...

what tranny is better overall hydro or cable?

couldn't get an answer anywhere else..please help...thanx

i think for all trannies it is said that cable enguages quicker but hydro shifts smoother.
but specifically are you referring to durability?

the best tranny for single cams are from the d16z6 and d16y8. shorter gears shorter final drive i believe. better acceleration

Well i mean I got an auto tranny and I'm looking into switching to manual, I don't know much about trannys so I was just wondering what was better overall out of the cable or hydro..Which is more durable?
