As I posted in Honda-Tech... Rodrigo and I are just about finished with the prototype Maintence Mode Switch for the ECU.

This is a very nice small flat black paddle switch that will be accompanied with 7ft of 18ga wire and a nice female connector to be a direct plug-in for the blue 2-wire plug which jumps the ECU into Service Mode. This is a nicely done pre-made drop in switch which can be mounted anywhere you choose since 7ft will give you many options for locations.

I figured I would work on these since I am sick of using the good ol paperclip when I wanna pull codes.

I will have a pic up soon of the finished prototype and you can ask Taylor the paddle switch chosen is nice and I am not doing a cheapo job...

Price: Only $10... not looking for a profit.

This price is an estimate after all is said and done I expect it to remain...

Do I have anyone here intrested?

Ive had one since I first bought the car some three odd years ago. 2bucks at radio shack for a flat toggle switch which was all I needed have tons of wire.

Still though for those of you who are not capable of making one its a nice piece to have and it will stop you all from coming on the board wondering what code you MIL is giving you.

Hey Joe you might also want to think about marketing an ECU fuse toggle. Been meaning to hook mine back up but been too lazy. Just purchase some small spade fuse holders some fuse block taps some wire some toggle switches put em all together and sell em as a set with your service connector jumper.

Actually... already had that in mind too...

I will post a pic of the switch... very nice looking and all quality stuff... worth the measly $10...

Silly rabbit...

Think about it Robster...how do you reset the ECU? Pull the backup fuse. Pain in the ass aint it? Well I made a toggle switch that just mounts in my glove box next to the Service connector switch. Flip service connector switch count code flip it back off then flip the ECU switch to clear ECU memory.
