this is bullshit bullshit bullshit i would have it done in 20 minutes or less probably less and even have custom manual tensioners ive made by fabbing up my own deal and tig welding it together with the auto tensioner , i even have 2 belts. any of this i would of traded for parts on top of the 80 bucks i'm in virginia working damn man we both missed out

i am going to get a patent on my tensioners i make. There 10 times better and easier than the h23 conversion . Just use your imagination guys how does an auto tensioner setup work??? think it about it people the solution is very simple LOL!!

Whats wrong with the H23 tensioners? I haven't had a problem with thim, they seem to hold up fine.

theres nothing wrong but the ones i make u don't have to buy any parts and getting the perfect tension on the timing belt is just a wrench turn , instead of turning the motor over and prying and taking what u can get

Any pics of this tensioner you made?

From what I've read, the auto tensioner should be replaced if you're building up your engine. Which is what I plan to do, at least somewhat (not going for 500whp or something crazy).

when that auto-tensioner fails don't complain when your engine blows up. High RPM/high HP apps they seem to fail in short order.
