stricktly buisness.. you obviously have no understanding of how a motor works...i mean, this isnt even an issue of knowing this motor specifically, its common sense...
and neil sutton would know better. what you told us neil said was that he had no clue what was in the motor. but then again, you were trying to play dumb the whole time.
if a gsr block and a ctr block are the same height.... which we all know is true.
if they used the same rod then the piston wouldnt come nearly to the top of the block... giving you a useless motor.
b16b rod is 142.30 mm
grs rod is 137.90mm
b16b piston comp height is 30.73
gsr piston comp height is 30.23mm
according to what you say is a "stock CTR motor" (b18c/b16b block, gsr rods, b16 crank, and ctr pistons)
that a stock CTR has a compression ratio of 7.28:1

and as far as what JDM son is saying...
he says since it had bad piston rings, that to make it fair i would have to pay to rebuild his ENTIRE motor.
i dont know where the fuck he put 250 dollars into that motor. he hasnt said,
but somehow if your told your getting a used block, and it needs pistons rings, to get what you asked for you have to get a used block with a full rebuild kit... somehow thats fair. and as far as the whole headgasket issue... you said it was smoking white, i said white smoke is water and not caused by rings. once you said it was smoking blue i said i would replace the rings.
