did you check to see if your head was warped or any cracks in the head?
you got spooks in that motor.....

 

bro im not sure but i got the head re surfaced and check it was good ....do you kno anyone with a dx dizzy or a si dizzy ?? i have everything 4 the mpfi swap but the dizzy im try the dizzy if it dnt work i will prolly b selling or trading it for a eg if i can or a gst

 

if was getting hot when you were still, most likely your cooling fan wasnt coming on
You need to fix these things if you want to have a running motor for a while after you fix it.
Have you checked compression after changing the hg? If you still get white smoke, then obv youre still burning water

 

my cooling fan is coming on ...naw havent did a comp. check but if it is comp. y when i turn the key and push the gas pedal the car will rev over 3 rpms no problem?? andif the car is cool it will start and try 2 keep a constant idle till it starts 2 heat then it jus almost dies but is still running

 

are you low on coolant? if its white then its coolant, you blew your hg

 

i changed my headgasket .....i think its the dizzy im jus get rid of this dpfi bullshit and go with a obd1 swap harness if i can run a obd1 dizzy off a pg7 and if it bolts to my head i think i will b good to go what you guys think do you think it will work ??

Im thinking your problem is way more than the dizzy. You need a compression check to further diagnose this problem. How many miles are on this motor? Single cam swaps are cheap or might be time for DOHC swap?

 

215k but it still pulls strong .....i lik the under dog motor single cam

 

i would go with a b18 or something, but can definitely find sohc swaps for cheap

 

read the check engine codes and i can help you trouble shoot it from there
