Default Door Check on an EF

How do you replace the door check on an EF?
(Driver side prefered but both would be nice)

Pics would help greatly.

Thanks in advance

If it is popping it is most likely broke off inside the door...thats how mine started. You have to take off the door panel...there are quite a few screws holding it on...roll the window all the way up and once the panel and speaker are completely off you will be able to get to the hinge inside the door.

Shouldn't need to...usually that clunking sound is the spring thing inside the door...when I took my door panel off there were like 4 pieces of that arm at the bottom lol

I didn't either...just take off the panel and inspect everything...it can't hurt any plus you will have an idea of if it is inside or outside of the door that is messed up.

Mine was the outside part mostly...the inside sliding mechanism was intact so we just broke the rest off from the outside panel and welded it on...the outside part doesn't move so it can be welded.
