i want to raise my hood a bit. where do i find hood spacers?? and do they have a specific name??

 

They are plastic bushings. You can purchase them at home depot or lowes as plastic washers. You will then need to purchase longer 10mm bolts.

 

alright how do i install them??

 

ace hardware sells these just about a inch long aluminum dowels that fit a 10mm bolt just about perfectly, get 4 of them and get 4 longer bolts and off you go.

Take out your old hood bolts, put the sleeves between the hinge and the hood and put the bolt back on and tighten.
