u need mounts, axles, a engine harness made for the f22 to plug in to the eg, a grinder or a punch gun to remove passenger side bracket if u get the mounts that need a new bracket. thats all that comes to mind right now some1 correct me if im wrong

yea but why an f22 its like having a heavier d series (horsepower wise)with a lil bit more torque basically

waste of money the swap is going to cost you
just spring $100 for a d16z6 and call it a day if youre doing it because its cheap

the f series isn't that bad, especially if he is thinking about going boost. if he's going f22 vtec or f23 vtec its not bad at all, with a lot of usable torque. that shit makes a b20 look like a b16. if he goes turbo and does it right, he will be a force to be messed with...but again if you are doing it just to save money, do nothing at all cuz when messing with cars, the cheap route almost always is wasting money and time. the f has potential, though, it is an art to make it show.

Kung, you do realize that the F22 head is one of the best flowing heads In the entire Honda lineup, with a valve angle that allows one to run HUGE Valves without V2V Contact

Why do u think bisi chose it for his 9 second insight.

"The F-series: Early Accord engines feature amazing head flow characteristics, second only to S2000 heads, and are arguably the most overlooked performance engine in the Honda family. They feature a stout construction and a reliable valvetrain. Non-VTEC is the way to go as far as Bisi's concerned."

"The race car: Otherwise known as Stitch, Bisi's naturally aspirated drag car-a 460hp F22A-powered SOHC Honda Insight-runs low 9s at over 147 mph."

I have to this day not seen a B series, H series, nor a K series that has seen even near that much power NA so i dont wanna it

F22s are amazing for boost, Strap on a H23 Intake manifold and a nice header with a decent exhaust and a H22 tranny and your gonna walk alot of shit on the streets for nearly a quarter the price as a B series. The stroke is the same as the H23. And what makes a car move? thats right, TORQUE, so unless your gonna give an answer that pertains to his question why dont u just gtfo.

So far every time i see you post you critisize what the OP is doing and you preach K series like its the best thing since sliced bread. If you dont like it then why bother posting???

/Vent

OP: PM me for info I can tell you how to do it, help you, or do it for you and I have a tranny that will work for you.

for 1/4 of the price of a b series?
youre on crack i think he wants to swap a STOCK f22 in there. Not a race gas high compression motor on nitrous.
Which f22 are you talking about first of? There is a difference in f series motors btw.
For all that work mounts/wiring. He could have a motor that costs just as much(d series) that just drops in. If hes planning on a build, then he should state that. I dont bash on any motor. With the right amount of $ any motor can be quick. As far as money, and ease of swap d series is the way to go. If money is no issue, do some research before you buy something. Go J series . Mounts are available and you got lots of torque.

On another note, I have many of friends with 91-92 (f22a1-a7)accords that burn oil like mofos. My boy brando has had 3 f22a1, and a6. All have spun bearings. Those were stock motors btw. I dont know much about the newer vtec variants so I will let someone that knows about those speak of their experiences.

LOL @ Mario getting mad, You h-series dickrider

I asked why he would do that swap, simple question. I never preach K-Series, I like B-Series TBH.. You need to step off that high horse of yours and stop putting words in my mouth about what I preach about when you have no fucking clue.

I frankly dont see the point in the swap, Im not going to argue because we all know Dohc's will have more potential over a Sohc, You both will never have a 460hp F22A so why even post that.. The B-Series would be a better choice all around easier swap, more potential out of the out of the box, alot more parts readily available/better aftermaket support. fuck f-series./

We all have our own opinions, You dont like my "constructive criticism" then move the fuck on to the next thread or suck my dick either way, We are on the internet.. people post questions and will get the answers they like or dont like.. just how it goes.
