00Si in a 5th gen ex HELP!

hey i would talk to the right people about this...sounds to me like the plugs from the B16 will not plug in..different year (EK)to (EG)different plugs...i am not to sure about mounts but i would think you use the ex engine wiring harness and youd be set to go (hook up the knock sensor though)
but i would check with someone to be sure..

okay since noone likes the idea of using the 00si harness here is what you do to use the ex harness
transfer the harness to engine
-ex already has vtec wires so just plug those up
-since you are running the p28 you dont need the knock sensor to be wired
-the distributor plug on the engine harness side will need to be repinned. Very easy all the wires are there. The obd1 harness has two plugs: one with seven wires which are for the various sensors in the distributor and the other with two wires which are power and tach. The 00si plug will have all nine of these wires in the same plug. Just cross refernce and swap the pins in the correct place.
-the alternator plug will also need to be rewired. there are four wires on each.
-you can skip the rewiring of the distributor and alternator plugs if you get obd1 vtec distributor and alternator.
