Is it any good? Will this engine fit in a 1989-91 Crx Si? I see it make 170hp@7800. If so whats a good price range for engine ecu tranny shiftlinkage the whole kit? Any opinions/suggestions?

A 2G JDM b16a changeover in a 2G crx would be a serious wiring and tranny problem (cable to hydro clutch). You could save yourself time trouble and money by going with a 1G b16a1(160hp) changeover. If you really want the extra 10hp and fresher motor you could run the 2G b16a longblock w/1G b16a1 ecu cable tranny and injectors. HTH

Ok so whats the difference between the B16A 1.6 JDM 1595cc 160Hp engine versus the US version? Or is it the same thing? Can I add force induction to this motor? OR how about a swap to the B18C1 GSR motor? How much of a pain is that swap? I would prefer to go with the easier swap and add force induction if possible.

1G JDM b16a and all USDM b16as have a compression ratio of ~ 10.2:1 and hp rating of 160. The 92+ 2G JDM b16as have a c/r of ~ 10.4:1 probably also different fuel and timing maps to make the extra 10hp.
If you want to run a b18c1 engine well in a 4G civic/crx you should use a b16a1 or 92-93 cable tranny and have someone who knows wiring pretty well wire your ecu to obd1 to run the Gsr ecu and your injection to 92+ type.
A cheaper easier way would be to remove the secondary butterflies from the Gsr intake manifoldand run b16a1 injectors and ecu. It wont run as well though.
