Yeah when I got my car they had EG seats with 3 bolts in and a self tapper screw holding the rear center bolt...I was like WTF...all you have to do to get EG seats in an EF is widen the rails by adding washers in between the rails and where they bolt to the seat...problem solved...and no ghetto shit.

6'3" here. Anyone have Bride or Recaro I can try out by just sitting in them? I dont want a seat where the shoulder part that sticks out isnt wide enough and i'm sitting in them weird. When I was smaller I though SRT4 seats were amazing but now that i'm bigger I dont fit as good in them.

Default Reducing Height of Stock Seats

+1 on quality bolts.
Ace Hardware has graded bolts....stock bolts are tiny anyway. Back up the new bolts with some wide/hefty washers.

If you want someone to look at the rails, get back to me. I have done some things with stock appearing seats and probably some height can be reduced with yours, depending on their design.-Bob

You can do or build almost anything, if a person looks at how it's made
and then thinks creatively. If you want someone to look at it, Pm me.-Bob

If I could weld I would just chop the factory rails and put a little gusset piece to make sure its as strong or stronger than factory. I took a good look at it and it looks like you could just cut an inch or an inch and a half out of the portion going down and it would drop the seat where everything should be fine with it moving forward and back and it would blot up in the sae place and all. 1" would be fine for head room, i cant afford Recaro's or Bride's right now which when I can I would like the seats to be slammed so you feel real low in the car.
