having really bad jerking and lurching from 92 prelude

Default having really bad jerking and lurching from 94 prelude

i have no idea what this is:
i have a 94 h23a 5 spd 2.3 non vtec prelude.

ran fine a month ago.

now on start up starts fine, idles smooth and no missing.

put it in gear and at like 2k rpm it starts jerking through 3k where i shift. it smells horribly of gas. i noticed that during the jerking the rpms arent jerking with the car. under hard accel at this point it just misses and jerks harder.

after about 5 mins of driving the cel will come on and it will go in limp mode (i guess) where its very sluggish and strains to go over 3k rpm, still reaking of gas.

tried to pull the codes but nothing! the cel wont blink when you bridge the connector?

im far from a mechanic so if anyone knows whats wrong or a good honda tech send them my way- i really could use the help...

if nothing happens this weekend im just going to take it to a dealership and bend over...

Do all the spark plugs look the same?
Tell us how you know all the plugs are getting a spark......

Autozone does free check engine light tests.......
or did you try them yet?

If the light will come on, it should blink......-Bob

yeah ive checked and replaced the plugs and wires twice to no avail. its obd1 and the only shop that agreed to look at it was pepboys but they ended up blowing my master clutch cylinder and then said i brought it to them like that, then said they could not do the diag cuz it had too many performance parts (which is bullshit... it has an intake and exhaust)

a guy at advance was telling me to replace the cap and rotor, then from there check ignition module and ecu. its going in the body shop tomorrow due to someone sideswiping me on dale mabry. im running out of money :/

did you check your CEL and what did it read?

my 91 EF started doing this when my TDC sensor broke off in the Dizzy. The copper wire inside the dizzy would start winding around stuff and the car would sputter, then run fine and repeat.

Also since you smell fuel so check to make sure that the fuel lines are okay and when was the last time you checked fuel filter? Did the plugs smell foul?

i txted you- im @ work. i had a guy suggest dustributor at autozone. its in the body shop but ill have it back friday. im driving a damn focus...

check the CELs(by doing this Phearable.net - how to check your CEL s ) then come here and tell us what code (codes are here Phearable.net - ecu cel codes )youre throwing

If you had searched on google/yahoo, you would have found how to check the codes as well. You owe me .75 cents for my time.

H failf to mention that i have already trif numerous times to pull the cofs by jumping the connector but the cel light stays on
