Unhappy Cursed GSR - Dare to be Stumped - Head Leak and Odd Engine Bog

Got a '99 GSR with bored block and .25 oversized CTR pistons...and a curse. Head gasket continues to leak after changing at least 4 times. Been using ARPs since building block and Honda head gaskets everytime. Head was machined a couple months ago. Most recently I used proper gasket sealant and torqued head to 90 lbs. Somehow oil managed to find it's way out again, slowly as usual.

What's better head gasket to use?

Thoughts on using gasket sealant?

Also recently, my engine bogs at low rpm after warming up. Oddly, it only does it when I put a load on it. No engine codes on, replaced knock and map sensor, brand new plugs, working plug wires...when bogging I can press on clutch, rpm will revert to norm but will bog when re-engaged. Got a little better after changing map sensor, enuf to ride consistently at 15 mph to get home. Idle after driving would dip low then level back out repeatedly about every 30-60 secs. Taking off both vac hoses on intake manifold made idle consistent but at 1500 rpm instead of 800.

What's causing bog with no codes???? Injector?

as long as the leak is not from the front left side"causes thats normal"unless you deck the block too..i dont think there is a "best"headgasket i myself only use felpro have never used oem and never had a problem but other live there life by oem..as for bogging to many things bad wires,O2 sensor problems.timeing, even valve adjustment

to 90 lbs? lol wowzers. get a straight edge and a feeler gauge and check if your head is warped. do the same with the block and the sleeves.

My guess is o2 sensor or timing for the bogging issue...and rang...what do you mean by the front left side? Is that a sign of head warping?

Rang, you're saying oil leak frm passenger-side front of motor is normal with bore and high compression pistons? This was the main corner it leaked frm, but it's currently leaking frm driver-side front corner. Head was milled just couple months ago. Even if there was a little warpage since then, wouldn't the gasket sealant be enough to fill any minor voids?

About the engine bog...checked timing and it was dead on. If it was timing, I don't think my car would run fine parked and then bog when I put a load on the motor by driving. It only starts after it's warmed up and has a load on it.

O2 sensor would throw a code I believe. I have no codes anymore so that just adds to the mystery...

I think people get confused with leaks at the front passenger side because of the leaky cam seal that is usually there and sometime the distributor's seal leaks.

When I had a bad o2 sensor it took a good 5-10 minutes worth of driving before the ecu would flash a code.

And if the leak is coming from the driver side (near the timing belt) my guess is that you have a faulty head gasket.

As far as the bogging issue I would change plug wires cap and rotor. Iv seen this as the cause many times.
