Thanks for the insight. Sounds like it is a wheel bearing problem because when Im driving in a straight line and turn the wheel slightly to the left the humming goes completely away. Silent. Go straight again and its back.

So is this just a matter of replacing the wheel bearing? Would it be a good idea to replace the wheel bearings on all four wheels? The sound seems like it only comes from the rear...can I probably get away with just replacing the rear wheels bearings? Would I get these wheel bearings from hondaland?

My cars alignment is slightly off too so Ill probably get an alignment real soon. Does it matter what I do first (alignment/replacement of bearings)?

Thanks Jon.

Thanks for everyones input.
I dont know about a wheel bearing they dont usually make humming noises when bad. Its usually more of a light thumping sound. If you want an easy way to check jack up the car and spin the wheels by hand. Grab a few coils of the spring and feel for any vibration while the wheel spings. Also make sure the wheel spins freely. Next grab the tire from the top and bottom and pull/push it. There should not be any noticeable vertical movement. Also youll want to do a little slalom down the road meaning while moving forward turn left than right then left then right etc. This will load up the wheels and youll be able to hear if the bearing is going bad during the turn (not the straight line) and determine which side.
If it turns out to be a bad front wheel bearing youll need to take off the front knuckle and get a new bearing pressed in. If its the rear then your life will be a hell of a lot easier.

Some things you might want to check other than wheel bearings are if anything is rubbing ie: pad retainers on the disc axle damper on something (know you just installed the axles so you never know)..
Another thing you might want to consider is alignment. If you popped off the tierod balljoint it might have been knocked around a little and your toe is off now. Ive noticed this before on different cars that with an alignment change came a slight change in tire noise.

Just bring it punk...no really bring it over...probably not the bearing but I want to check your axles bangin the axle out at my house on the yard might have pushed the axle and warped the bearing but unlikely it would go womp womp womp sounds like something simple I can throw it on a jack and check...
