Default wtf mate no brakes?

I go to stop and the pedal feels spongy all of a sudden and the pedal is all the way down but its not stopping real fast and there is a school bus stopped with kids crossing the road. Had enough room to stop before all of that it just took a long time and the car wouldnt come to complete stop with out me ripping the e-brake. So I cautiously drive home and my brakes work but still feel too soft, not where the pedal goes all the way down but they just dont bite. Before all of this happened if you really pushed in that pedal your going to fly forward and probally screetch the tires. Not now so whats up with my brakes? Brake fluid is full and I havent seen any leaks on the driveway. What would cause this?

an air bubble somewhere in the lines.. or ur master cylinder is gone.. when u stop in a light does the pedal keep going down to the point where it gets to the bottom and the car starts moving??

yeah i thought about an air bubble but how does that get in there? This is the 1st time it has happened and it was once that it wouldnt stop I started pressing the brake and it felt spongy and I kept going down until it was on the floor and wouldnt go any further but i'm still rolling.

As he said, brake cylinder is probably toasted. Get a new one and bleed the brakes properly

It's easy enough to do your self.

You could look online or call an auto parts store. But i would guess around $60-80 bucks, depending on which car you have.
