thank you for the help and offer to help me. I took the car for a spin about an hour ago and the brakes seemed to work fine, not sure if this will happen again?

well if you want you can bring it by and i can look at your brakes just to be on the safe side because your brakes definitely should not be doing that. even though they feel better now there definitely is a problem and should at the least be looked at by someone

if u need a cylinder u might as well do the booster also.

i just did mine in my EF and when u get the Cylinder OR the booster it even says in the box "MAY NEED NEW BOOSTER" or "MAY NEED NEW CYLINDER"

Cuz what happens is the seals between the cylinder and the booster goes bad and brake fluid leaks into the booster making both parts no good. air in a hydraulic system is what makes it go straight to the floor.

Replace them both bleed all ur brakes DONT FORGET TO BLEED THE MASTER CYLINDER!!

im going threw the same thing my brakes grab sometimes and then sometimes dont but im changing mine out today, its most likely your cylinder or possibly the booster and most auto parts stores have a core charge, it shouldnt be 80$ its more like 40$ if you bring in the old one, its around 75 if you dont but its a dumb decision to not take it back your gonna throw it away anyways, but i could be off thats the price of a cylinder for a 92 integra with abs,
