if your gona use them for the coolness factor, you must be a ricer lol! no way i would pay anwhere from 1600-3500 for an itb setup fully tuned to not get almost any gains for what im paying. and no you cant boost and run an itb setup! that i know of!

First off you CAN boost and run ITB's.

Second, they cost a shit load and if you don't have a fully built motor don't expect the gains to be worth it AT ALL.

Third, they ARE overrated...spend almost 2k on a ITB setup or spend about 3k on a boosted setup and get 100hp more lol (and I am totally against boost too so figure that one out)

If you make your own set out of a set of sport bike ITBs and an oem manifold then it can cost far less than 100 bucks if you know the right people/places. If you already have engine management and self tune and can make a set yourself why not? I am boosting soon enough but in the mean time im considering a simple itb setup just because THEY SOUND AMAZING.

i am a welder, i have a set of itbs, i have a spare manifold, i have the knowlege to build it, my car is running on neptune and my tuner said he could do it. that is why im not worried about the gains. who can say the have ITS on their f20? ive never seen it so ifigured since i have the stuff i would give it a try. i plan to go boost in near future and figured i would leave it on there. the point of this thread was to see if anyone had any pointers and suggestions.
