How do I get this damn thing off my Si!! (Comptech rear tie)

lower or upper? I made a rear bad and put it on then when I went to install polly upper shock bushings I had a bitch getting it off the edge where the hole is was stuck on the thread of a bolt and I ended up having to cut the bitch off. Oh well I didnt do a good job making it I need to learn how to weld.

Hey AustinSi Im gonna assume youve got the upper tie bar. Just pop the trunk undo the nuts pull it off put the nuts back on.

Its the lower tie/sway combo I got the sway off Taylor explained how to do the tie earlier thanks bro.

hmmmm its been about a year since Ive looked at a comptech setup so i may be missing something here but start with the d bracket endlinks the sway bar should come off now now just take off the lca bolts and the bolts that bolt into the subframe.

I need to jack up the control arm to take the support off of the main bolt throught the tie bar

The only reason youd need to jack up the control arm is if you took out the bolt holding the arm to the hub.
All you need to do is undo the bolt place a wrench behind the bolt head and pull the bolt out with the wrench while turning the bolt with a ratchet. Simple.
