Default Quick Battery Re-Location Question

This may sound like a dumb question but I just want to be sure.

I have everything i need to get my battery moved to the back in my DA. Once i route my wire from the trunk to the bay the connections are as follows:

+ on the battery to distribution block
distribution block to starter
distirbution blcok to fuse box
Ground to the chassis

I am just looking to get a confirmation on this....I have never done a relo...

thanx in advance

its easy, just run a big wire from the pos terminal (or to everything on the pos terminal) to the back of the car, and a big ground wire to the chassis. make sure you get a good connection to the ground. good luck.

what about the starter? I know the factory wire splits off to the fuse box and starter...then continues to the battery. I want to mimick that exactly.

I am using 4g wire for +/- prolly 8g from the black to the starter and fuse box. Am I thinkin along the right lines?

Im gonna attack this task in the morning

You are correct sir. Single run of 4ga from distribution block to battery in back. 8 ga to starter and fuse block from distribution block. Be sure to grab a nice 80 Amp fuse to put in line with that 4 ga wiring...wouldn't want that thing to ground out without a fuse. Also, I used 0 ga on my ground instead of 4...I wanted to be sure it had a good ground

You're good to go then. Make sure you bolt that battery down well, god forbid if you get in an accident and that sh*t isn't secure...

damn...i need to get out and buy some smaller loop connectors. I don't have one small enough to fit into the fuse box. I guess I can run all the wire anyhow and get it ready...i'm not going anywhere anyway!
