Speedo Problem

Speedo Problem
Ok, my daughter has a 95 accord and the speedo works intermittently. I have checked the conections going into the speedo cluster, they are tight. I have noticed that when it is not working that the gear selection light will blink off and on. i have looked in my Chiltons manual but that was useless. Any ideas?

yeah pull it out of the tranny and check to make sure the little plastic gear isn't broken

you might be right. I drove it the other day and when i went to take off it was like someone pulled the ebrake, i shifted down to d3 then it was ok. this only happens once in awhile. of course it only happend once when i was driving it but she says it does it a lot. When i run it through the gears it seem to shift fine, not ( for lack of a better term) to mushy or to stiff.
