Default Still I cannot...

I still cannot find out if I can use A SOHC harness. I was told to use that harness in the OBD1 EG due to I would not have any extra plugs laying around. And there are 4 I have found so far. The only O2 sencer on the headers is not plug'd in and I am hunting down the plug for it. Also on the passanger side down low under the ABS pump-garbage I found a pretty big plug that is not going to nothing that I need to hunt down.

Default Cxcivic

So it look's like CXCIVIC (Neal) will chip my P28 for a h22a1 setup for around $80...But also I have this other die hard H22 fan that has a chipped P28 for $120... 80 sounds better but when I think of the resale on my stock P28 I think I can make alittle more back with the chipped P28. (twerling thumbs)

I might turn this into my own little build thread...My motor is in a 2dr but I am looking for an ugly cheap hatch (like everyone)maybe I will find something.

If the new chipped ECM works (hopefully the guy rideing my ass up there was right) I am going to look for a better harness. Sence no-one on here knows what harness they used to swap there h22 into an OBD1 car (I do search but I cant find the gold) If it will go to Tack I am going to find a new none ABS harness and rid of all the pumps and crapola on this EG. And the wireing is like a dumpster at your local car audio store.

Thanks for looking.

Default Really

Well I wonder how much a harness is going for aswell... The car runs as of now, Just not the way it should so if a chipped ECM gets it right I dont see a reason for a new harness other than for the sake of looks.

Post Yes!!!

I found some h22 parts on here someone is selling. And it looks like he is bringing me a chipped p28 that he is going to program right here at my home deliver'd and all the tuning kicks and giggles for $120 and he lives pretty far. Now thats a deal. If she does not start up and run good then I know the wireing is wrong and A ECM harness is on its way in.

EERRR I cant wait to had that k24 eg hatch his ass...

O and also I pluged back in a few things and now it is ideling once more. Baby steps...then jolly green giant steps.

I will post some pic's soon...maybe even a video.

Default .....

P28 was no help, I do need it anyway... I pulled all the crap ass wireing out last night. I was lucky enough to have a buddy with a virgin harness and he let me use it just to see. I start hooking it all up and come to find out it is a SOHC none vtec harness and I dont want to cut up a good harness just for my swap so (injector clips were diffrent is why I stoped) I gave it back. I can build motors and replace parts but wireing is a whole diffrent level for me. Any acutual SHOPS want to finish her up for me? anyone know of any shop's or who did there's? I do need a fixed rate due to the econ-no-m(on)ey. Thanks

407 716 9228, Must be a real shop not you in my drive way with your dad's tool bag. I do have AAA towing 150 miles

Default For fresh swapers

H22A Swap FAQs - Honda-Acura.net That is for accords but may put you in the right direction for A H22A1 swap

What I have so far is What ever car you are swaping use the harness from that car. You may need a conversion harness ex: OBD0 to OBD1 according to your motor IE: if you have a obdo crx and a obd1 motor.

If you have a 94 eg OBD1 and a OBD1 H22A1 youse the d16 harness that was in your car. also make sure it is vtec harness if you are running a vtec motor. If not you will have to wire it up.

The key word to search for is FAQ. Like "h22a1 FAQ". It will most likely find what you are looking for or try "write up"

In the H series motors you have to have a chipped P28 or the P13 ECM-ECU. Or whatever ECU is in your car. And that is if you dont go hondata or something.

Uhh... Correct me if I am wrong on any of this.

I typed this up becuase nooo one will tell you jack shit. They will just tell you to do the research becuase they have been doing this for so long and they know what you need to know off top of there head and they think your a dumbass becuase you dont know it to.

Hope that does more good than bad. And if your like me you are just going to have someone fix it for you.
