d16y7 and y8 header question!

d16y7 and y8 header question!
What is the difference besides cat location between these 2 headers? I have a cracked d16y7 header and want to replace it. I was thinking about swapping it for a y8. I know the 2nd o2 sensor is further back. How difficult of a task is it to do this swap?

you will need to weld a bung in the header i have the same setup on mine i tried keeping just the 1 o2 and the car was so lean it was scary i welded a new bung to the 3rd runner and it was perfect

I thought the y8 header had 2 o2 bung locations.? I was thinking of extending the wires of the 2nd o2 sensor. I have a stock exhaust on my hatch. Will there be any problems with it bolting up? Thanks for the info.

i bought my larger flang on ebay for 14bucks and welded it to the y8 head b4 i put it on my d16z6.....and no the y8 only has 1 o2 the other was in the cat on the 96+...as for bseries i think the b20 has a nice one like the y8
