Hi i have a 2000 honda civic ex i was wondering how to take out the factory honda cd player? I am afraid i might damage my dash so i need some incite on it before i try it.

 

hehe nothing easier take out the two screws that are above your power outlet and using two flat head screwdrivers pray cattycornered on the whole assembly to put the new stereo I reccomend you to buy the harneses for honda and the whole installation can be done in 15-20 min

 

i had to remove the panel under the drivers side too(where the power roof control & coin holder are) in order to get the center piece out. did it not even a week ago.

 

if you had taken only one screw on the left side of the panel around the wheel and pop a clip on the bottom you could pull it out without taking off anything else
