itr flywheel/ clutch
Is it worth it to buy as lightened flywheel for an itr engine or just lighten the factory one or just leave it stock? Who makes a good sprung hub disc(maybe 6 puck) with a medium pedal pressure plate?
Thanks

I personally wouldnt feel safe removing 4 pounds of material from a stock flywheel... just doesnt sound like it would be so strong especially if youre adding power to the engine.... why not go with a new one from spoon or toda? they are steel instead of aluminum. I installed a spoon one in my friends ls/vtec and i love it! you could have an old flywheel thats been lightened and weaker for $225 or have a brand new unit from SPOON for like $300!?! Clutchmasters makes awesome clutches that grip hard with light pedal pressure. The stage 3 can handle just about anything all motor or medium boost or juice and has like stock pedal pressure. thats just my $.02

well i agree that the stock flywheel lightend is good idea!! i have had mine done and it works fine!! but about the clutch net clutch? i had an rps which is made by clutchnet i think and it cost just under 400 and lasted 5000 miles in a stock b16a engine!! i was not happy at all!! ohh and trust me the stock lightend flywheel is a damn good idea because it is just the right weight! too light is not better!!
Who has spoon flywheels for 300? Im thinking of going with a 6 puck sprung hub. On my sohc I had an act heavy duty pp and a 6 puck unsprung disc It gripped hard but on the street when I would shift to second I would just get wheel spin. Maybe those z-10 bars would help?

www.spoonsports.com or www.takakaira.com has them for that price... if youre staying N/A and using the car as a daily driver there is no reason in the world to get a 6 puck disk... you dont even need a racing disk.. a type r or cm stage 3 disk is more than enough.
