rev limit about 6000 after spending time at 7000 r

after running at high rpm for a few moments the computer seems to cut the rev limiter to 6000. i shut the car off and restart and it goes away till the motor spends a little time at 7000 or so. 99 civic si with boost. the map is not seeing any boost either

oil level is full. i am going to put a oil guage in it to see if it drops while at high rpms. but any other suggestions?

turns out that when SFP did the tuning they switched the vtec wires on the vafc near the comp. i finally was able to get the 22 code. so i pulled the kick panel off and they removed the purple and pink wires..now it works fine.. John i was suppose to meet Frank over in tampa but i think i missed him. i need to set up a time with you to get my shit tuned again.

yes removed the pink and purple from the green/yellow.
