crv 5-speeds

did they make crvs in 5-speed. ifso what is the gear ratio. id like to know because ive never heard of anyone using a crv tranny.

99.99999% sure it was never available with a 5spd. However didnt the b20A come with a 5spd?

Yeah they make a five speed CRV but they are vacuum assisted real time AWD trannies

yes i am 100% sure they made them because I have driven one. I am not sure if they were ever made in 2wd though i cant remember right now.

I stand corrected the 1998-2002 EX4wd and LX4wd came with a 5spd. Both of course are 4wd. If you have a ton of money and are handy with welding tools and have a driveshaft.com hookup you could use one which I would like to see.

good luck keeping it all in one piece honda awd systems are notorious for not holding up to any power. but Id like to see it done.

yeah crvs came in 5spd but...
all were 4WD with extra shaft output on back of trans for rear wheels AND...
all were cable shifted....similar to accords preludes and 2001 civics

agree... incase you never seen my post.. my old lady had a 89 civic wagon AWD.. it had a Sid16 block with a 98 EX head and a greedy turbo.. I never turned the boost past 3 because the rearend... was a blast to drive in the dirt.. that cable shifter was so sloppy.... feelings on a CRX with a b series motorCRVtranny and AWD???
