CEL on but doesnt throw a code

your vtec wiring from the ecu to the solenoid. Also make sure the solenoid is getting a good ground.

When the light comes on turn the key back just enough for the car to turn off then the light will still be on for you to pull the code. It is a soft code and if you do it like this you will be able to get the code. If you need help my number is in my sig below

ok did that and its saying
Code 21 V-TEC control solenoid

the wiring should be good i will check the wiring this weekend

i know lol i only have a short time to work on it when its light outside

so how do i check it?? i know how to check to make sure the ground is good but how do i check the wire??

does the P06 when its chipped for vtec have the same pin number as like a P28 or something??

Yes the pins would be located on the same spot on the clip on the harness.
