8200 rev
A p28 is also a factory computer to a D16Z6 , not a B16

I have a feeling you have a d16z6, and you dont know much about cars. So you think its a b16 just because it says vtec on the valve cover.
No its not safe to go to 8200 rpms on a stock d16z6.
If you do have a b16a1, a2, or a3. The stock ecu (pr3 if obd0, p30 if obd1 which seems to be your case, and p2t if obd2b)already has an 8100(sorry for saying 8200 oh allmighty)rpm rev limiter. If you are indeed using a p28 on a b16. Punch yourself in the face, then get the right ecu. Or get your p28 socketed + chipped with a b16 basemap.
