the jaxon blower comes with a 2 year 100k warranty. dont expect massive gains from it but it will give you the addede low end tq that hondas lack. if you are looking to make the car into an all out racer save your money build a block and a turbo. jaxon replaces your intake manifold with a special piece and in some cases moves the throttle body... good bye cai. if you want more info on jaxon blowers email me.

I have not been impressed with any JRSCed car Ive seen. If you want to make good adjustable power go turbo. You can slap a boost controller and run very small boost for daily driving with a JRSC your stuck with what your got unless you change pulleys. So say some bad ass car pulls up your not upping the boost at all for that race I can turn the knob on my DSBC and be from 4-10 PSI in about 2 seconds. Also you can drive the car around and not put it into boost by not getting on the gas hard. Since superchargers are belt driven your going to be producing some sort of boost all the time. DRAG vs revhard I believe revhards manifold design and strength is better but if you have a few more hundred in your budget get the SFP kit they dont give you the crap deltagate you get the nice HKS manifold guranteed not to crack better researched AR/trim per application etc. Also a stand alone like hondata will help you a lot when coming down to reliability and performance.

close but most have a bypass valve now that will only open under about 65% throttle or more. but you are right just like a turbo it is always spinning. the only real adavantage is ease of installation. the jsrc is a sealed housing that requires no additional lubrication.

and SFP is def a good way to go.

the best daily driver jaxons are only making about 220 whp but it feels alot like all motor basically it feels like a larger motor. according to scott@overboost there is somone running a jrsc 20 something psi daily with something called a membrane aftercooler. but this i a completely rebuilt blower.

Thanks for all the replies Im well aware of why to chose a sc or turbo but I was really asking about drivabilty detonation control *if* this ever happened it would just be for shits and giggles not a drag car. Ive actually kind of started liking the vortech supercharger. Before I just thought it had all the downs of each turbos and scs but then I realized that while the first gear powerband may be the same once you shift into second you dont have to wait for it to spool again its instantly at the exact same place in the powerband it would have been in first. Any input on that?

for the cash you spend on a vortech you could have like a stage 2-3 SFP kit. Vortech superchargers are more high high end HP and not all that linear. Superchargers are also going to make your under hood temperatures higher then a turbo especially the JRSC. Detonation management is not going to be much different when speaking in terms of the amount of boost your running. I personally like the expandability of the turbos myself. My car isnt going to be a drag car thats why im going to boost qabout 4psi for daily driving and then flip the boost controller over 2 settings for 9-10psi for racing.
