Default How good of a motor is the d16z6

Hey guys Been wondering what you guys thought about the d16z6 motor
Is this motor worth keeping ? Wasnt sure if I should swap it out for another motor maybe a bseries and sell the coupe to get more money , or sell it with the d16z6.

Did a search and found out it came in Honda Civic EX/Si /Del Sol Si 1992-1995. It comes with the most hp out of the d series for that year I believe.

D16Z6 1.6L 125 hp (93 kW) I4 92 -95

It's a good motor in terms of reliablitity, gas mileage and potential with a turbokit. If you're planning on going fast Naturally Aspirated, it probably isn't going to happen.

No I want to sell the car, Not sure if I should sell it with the D series or a B series. Most likely i will sell it with the D series in it.

why spend the extra money to swap it and not be able to get it all back in return. Better off just selling with the z6 still in it.

Z6 is the engine i currently have in my car and its well worth it, i gave that bad boy at least 20 trips to jax back and forth and 2 oil changes in between and it still starts like the first day... reliable 30mpg+ all day!!!! if i wasnt into performance it wold be the engine that for ever would stay in my car but you know that when you are into HP you need to go big so mine is leaving but great experience that i had with my z6...

z6's are great motors plus, like stated above, no sense in spending money on a swap if you are selling the car
