one of my headlights went out...so i just thought it was a bulb AGAIN ...but i found out it is not...so im thinking that i burned the wire harness since i bought those damn import showoff bulbs and they were to much wattage i guess...anyone have any ideas on what i should do? i have to do something before i get pulled over....can i take my car to any auto place or does it have to be a specialist??????HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check your interior fuse box for a blown fuse.

or start looking for the melted wire!

In order for the wire to melt there has to be some heavy resistance for heat buildup since I doubt the light could have gotten hot enough (in the rear at least) to melt the plug and wires.

Like Bill says check for a fuse. Im curious was it raining the day that this happened?.

fuse is fine...and no it was not raining...why? it was when yours went out? i have the projector lights on my car...just so you know...but i dont think it matters...all i know is it doesnt work....and no visable burned wires???????????
