i had this problem done to me before and it was the ignitor going bad, the rpms does not necessarily need to jump, mine didn't jump until one day my car died

This is a weird issue.
I forgot to mention its throwing code 41 (o2 heater circuit)
Any ideas how to fix that? I have replaced the o2 with a new Denso, still same code and same studder.
i was told it can be the dizzy..also test your iacv and fitv..check for vacuum leaks and make sure all your hoses are connected properly...

Unfortunately jail. On the subject of the motor...my hatch had a similiar problem and it turned out to be something in the dizzy. When are you gonna slap that b-tech head on there? I can't wait to see a 2.0ltr b-tech mange!
