sohc vtech swap in a rex

dose anyone know what a decent price is for this kinda swap not including labor just parts. also being that its a D series engine it should bolt in retaning stock mounts on a crx. one more thing what all would you need to do a sucsesful swap enginetrannyecuaxelssift links ect... thanks for any info

well price matters what you find...a good motor to get is a 96+ civic ex motor because the plugs plug into each other on the distributor...u used the stock crx engine wiring harness and use the ex distributor.
so basically all you need to find is a the head and block from a d16z6 you use the crx si intake manifold wiring harness tranny ecu evverything....
at least this is how a friend of mine did it and his car runs good...

thanks alot for the information my crx in a dx so would i need to get an si wiring harness right. Rayn

No youd use your dx harness unless you felt like replacing your interior harness with an si one but thats alot more work than just rewiring your dx engine harness to mpfi.
