how to polish the si wheels

Default how to polish the si wheels

i got a set of si wheels and they got a few scratches and dont shine like they should but i know polishing them will bring them back out but dont know how. does anybody know how??

strip with air craft stripper.....step sand starting at 500 grit and work to 2000 grit sand paper wet. hit with mothers mag/aluminum polish a few times. done. ive done this to a few sets fo wheels and they came out great!

yea i got da aircraft stripper but didnt know wat grit sandpapers to use .. ive never done it b4 so im gona try. is there any way i can mess them up?

yeah you can mess them up with to low of grit sandpaper... Trial and error...

ive done a few sets... it doesnt happen quick either.... you will have to take your time..

yea i know it takes time to do but im pretty sure i shouldnt mess them up ... as long as i take my time

if u use low grit paper youll need more steps to get the deep sratches out. i say start with 500-800 grit paper and go up from there.
