I have had the first gen hcp kit for over 2 and a half years and it hasnt cracked but imo the engineering plain sucks. The new gen kit looks pretty good(different design) and I will probably use it when I put my crx together. BTW hcp offers their new gen kit for $200 if you send them back their older gen kit.

I have the first gen HCP kit. It took some shaving to get everything to work. However after 1.5 yrs its still good. If you have the money go with Hasport. I havent heard of any complaints from them. As far as the shift linkage you can have it cut and welded or you can get one from Hasport or HCP. The HCP one just has two nuts that allows you to adjust to the proper length. Crappy? It works for me.
