Default Idle problems

Just happened to my car a couple of days ago but whenever the car is in neutral, either idling down after warmup or when shifting and putting the car in neutral to come to a stop, the idles drops really low, almost to the point where the car wants to shut off.

I had the catalytic converter replaced today because it was clogged but right after I left the muffler shop still had the same problems. I also tried spraying the the carb with cleaner and it still didn't help and checked the vacuum lines and didn't find any of them worn. Yes, it's a carbureted motor with a 5-speed transmission if my prevoius description didn't clue you in. Any other things to look for that can be causing this problem? I think there is a vacuum line running from the transmission, could this be the problem or a common problem on the '88 Accord with a 5-speed? Could one of you Honda/Acura gurus maybe are available to take a look at it? Need help soon since this is my daily driver. Thanks.
