you can use the y8 dizzy it'll bolt up of course but you'll need to convert the wiring with obd1 plugs.done,or you can probably do the same with the a6 you have?

Any info on the head studs? I was told (can't be right) that I will use the Z6 head studs except for one, near the V-tec solenoid. This can't be right....... I want to get ARP studs and I am not buying 2 kits.

Anyone eels want to jump in?

I found this over the weekend:
Head studs.....all Z6 but the last one by the v-tec needs to be a Y8.
You have to use the Y8 cam and cam gear or the timing will be off.
You can use either Y8 or Z6 head gasket, Y8 I guess is the better of the 2.
You will use the Y8 timing belt.
You need to use all Y8 internals for the head.

Things I am not sure of are:
The lower gear on the block I am guessing you use the Z6 even thou the part # is diff then the Y8.

You keep your Z6 crank pulley, everything you found is correct, except for one. No need to use the Y8 cam, just slap the Y8 camgear on the Z6 cam.
