Ok this is what happen'd. i tried to start the car when i was at the junk yard, and it wouldnt start. everything is good tho. i call'd a friend and he told me to push start it. when we did that it work'd. so wat do i have to do to prevent it from doing it again.

 

Check the terminals on the battery, it was happenening on my Dc.

 

Could be that, bad battery, or bad starter. Did you try jumping it? Did you try switching batteries? Did the car turn over at all? You gotta tell us these things if you want us to help you.

haha my bad . it turned over. but wasnt crankin. no the battery is still good and the starter is too. jus checked those. no didnt try to jump it. we did a push start and it started up. the terminal is good too. when we got it to start i drove it home n jus left it in front of the house now. It happens ones in a while. seems like somethun is not trigger n the car to start up.

 

look bro i dont care what you say i have had that problem with my civic it has enought power to run the cd player,the lights and everything but not enought to crank your car

its your battery bro if you drive it for a while and then try to turn it back on it turns on no problem then its your battery thats gone\

and its probly your alarm system that makes it happen

 

i c ill keep that in mind. thanks for the lookout , I did check the battery if its weak but its in the Ok Condition. Right Now it starts rite up like normal. jus wondering if it will happen again daz all. thanks for help me out yall.appreciate it.

 

bro that happened to me befor and i had to push start it too...thought it was the starter and got mine tested nd it was good so i started to think and checked under the clutch and saw that the rubber sealer that triggers the clutch switch to crank up was missing so i held the trigger down and turn the ignition and it turn right on....so you mite wana check dat yours mite be breaking

 

What youre talking about is called a clutch interlock switch. So you can't start your car without the clutch pressed in.(In case you try to start your car while in gear it doesnt roll forward and hit something) That could be the issue as well, but I would check all the other stuff first.

 

i c i c, thanks. Yes my homie said the same thing. that should b the case. a clutch switch that is trigger n the car not to start.the thing is i don't no what it look like. told that it is located on top of the clutch?
