no one suspects fuel main relay? sounds like it to me, usually works, intermitent problem. when its hot the contacts are already cracked and dont get a good connection, when cold they have enough contact to prime the pump. im guessing thats the problem.

The engine doesn't shut off while running thus ruling this out. Also he can pop start it, if the fuel pump wasn't coming on, the car wouldn't start when you pop start it.

Sorry about the double negative

main fuel relay only primes the pump, doesnt keep it running, and i believe you can still pop start it with a bad main relay.

If you have any buddies with an integra/civic. Try swapping out the main relay to rule it out. It takes like 30 seconds, it's located under the dash on the driver side. To the left of the pedals on the left wall. It's a little box it says main relay on it.

Id say starting with that main relay is a damn good start and then if thats not it just start going thru systems check all air fuel and spark sources have fun!
